Cowbridge Physiotherapy, Acupuncture and Sports Injury Clinic, was established by Helen Hopkins Chartered Physiotherapist in 1998, after many years experience in the NHS. Helen and her staff aim to provide prompt treatment and the very highest standards of care. Our treatment sessions are longer, and this enables us to help you to recover in the shortest possible time.

All our physiotherapists are members of the Health Professions Council and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, and are registered with all the major health insurance providers.

We are able to offer an appointment within 24 hours and have evening and Saturday morning clinics.

Physiotherapy is available for rehabilitation after surgery, and for problems including neck, back, muscle and joint pain. We use a broad range of physiotherapy techniques, including electrotherapy, massage and acupuncture. We offer gait analysis and biomechanical assessment for lower limb and back problems, particularly useful for walking and running activities.

We have referrals from local hospitals and Consultants who know we offer the highest standards of care.

Helen Hopkins the Director of the Cowbridge clinic  has also undertaken extensive post graduate training in acupuncture and herbal medicine. and can offer treatment for conditions such as infertility (male and female), womens problems, hair loss (alopoecia), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), panic attacks, anxiety and depression, skin conditions, insomnia (sleeping problems) and many more.

Additionally, we are able to provide an Ergonomics service where our Physiotherapist will come out to your place of work. Specialist DSE assessments, driving ergonomics and manual handling advice can be provided.
